Recently, American politician, Tulsi Gabbard, made an appearance on the podcast. Rogan and Gabbard talked for over two hours on a number of subjects. They also discussed the controversial documentary ‘What is a Woman?’ made by Matt Walsh.
Joe Rogan on the controversy behind ‘What is a Woman?’
The Daily Wire’s Matt Walsh recently released a documentary titled ‘What is a Woman?’ The documentary received flak for its attempt to define gender identity. Joe Rogan, however, said that it was a brilliant documentary.
Rogan posed certain questions regarding people identifying as women. He also pointed out the contradictions and issues that arise because of such identification. He said Matt Walsh’s documentary addressed those questions effectively.
“If you identify as a woman, what are you identifying as? Like that’s the documentary, the Matt Walsh documentary, which is f*cking amazing. And also amazing that no one’s reviewing it. … That documentary is fantastic because Matt Walsh… simply asks questions and he does it deadpan.”
Rogan said that it was unfortunate the documentary was available only on ‘The Daily Wire’. He raised more objections to what he considered the faulty logic behind gender representation.

However, the UFC commentator acknowledged that he wasn’t denying trans people their identities. Rather, he said he was pointing out the scientific errors behind the way gender terminologies were being used.
Rogan on the problem with representation in the United States
Continuing his conversation with Tulsi Gabbard, Joe Rogan pointed out what he considers a major problem with representation in the US. Rogan pointed out that people who had terrible experiences with gender transitioning and regretted it did not have enough representation.
Furthermore, he also pointed out that mainstream media did not represent them either. He said that a lot of such people exist.
