Little Mix is all for girl power in their new music video. In last few years, this girl group has gained momentum and significance for becoming the voice of women of their generation.
Unlike videos that showed women succumbing to a male subject, Little Mix has been attempting to create female characters who is both independent and self-reliant. The point is re-emphasised in their new video.
Little Mix has finally released the music video for their new single “Power”. The song features Stormzy who’s presence makes an important point. Equality is conscience participation of all genders.
The title defines the mood of the song. As girls roam around the city, they organize a march where everyone is welcomed and where everyone celebrates themselves.
As usual, the girls are looking stunning. Special mention needs to be given to Jesy Nelson who just nails her part. We also love seeing Jade outside an LGBT+ club with three drag queens behind her – as it’s almost been a year since the Orlando attack. The drag queens are Courtney Act, Alaska Thunderfuck 5000, and Willam; who are all known from RuPaul’s Drag Race.
If you’re are feeling depressed or defeated, listen to this track. “Power” is a morale booster that girls need in today’s time.
