Mr Kent Mensah, Editor of Starrfmonline.com who was suspended about two weeks ago by top management of the EIB Network over a flyer with images of persons mostly top National Democratic Congress (NDC) members likely to face the Independent Prosecutor, Martin A.B.K Amidu has been recalled to work.
www.mynewsgh.com gathered that he was set to resume work today January 31, 2018 after staying home for nearly two weeks following the incident.
Mr Kent Mensah who has spent exactly three years with the EIB media empire was asked not to return to work on Friday, January 12, 2018 after he posted an artwork containing portraits of top brass of the NDC and the Finance Minister, Ken Ofori-Atta seeking opinions of respondents on persons likely to face the newly appointed Independent Special Prosecutor Martin A.B.K Amidu when he takes office later in the year.
Displeased with the development, some powerful persons within the NDC it is gathered, piled pressure on the top management of the EIB Network leading to his suspension.
Though some of them allegedly accused of corruption are reportedly responding to queries from security agencies like the Economic and Organized Crime Office (EOCO), Bureau of National Investigations (BNI) which a matter of public record, it is not clear why they registered their displeasure by calling for his head which was subsequently yielded by management.
