Tay-K Found Guilty Of Murder Up Against Life Behind Bars

According to Page Six, Tay-K, whose real name is Taymore McIntyre, was found guilty on Friday for murder and burglary. The young artist who once bragged about shooting a person on the face will head to a penitentiary for the actions he boasted about.

Taymore McIntyre, who was convicted on charges of murder and aggravated robbery by a Tarrant County Jury for a 2016 assault in Mansfield, is now gearing up to pay the price for capital murder and aggravated robbery charges.

Authorities claim that the 19-year-old murdered a man and physically assaulted another almost to the point of death. Tay-K quickly became famous after he posted a song on YouTube called “The Race,” where he bragged about killing someone and running from the police. The track landed on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart.

Around that time, he was 16-years-old and he was placed on house arrest for the robbery. Ethan Walker, 21, was fatally shot and killed by one the rapper’s friends, and the mugshot subsequently went viral on account of how young he looked.

The prosecutors charged the young man because he was the one to plan the attack and also hired the gunman. Prosecutors stated that he removed his ankle monitor and fled from the police in 2017, recording the song, and becoming famous in the process.

Tay-K robbed and murdered a 23-year-old, Mark Saldivar, who was working at a Chick-fil-A in San Antonio, and he and his accomplices also beat a 65-year-old nearly to death. He had multiple broken bones and was also left unconscious with a bleeding brain.

While Tay-K is facing off against aggravated robbery charges as well as capital murder in Bexar County, he won’t be given the death sentence because he was a minor at the time of the crimes.

Another young hip-hop star to face serious charges is Tekashi 6ix9ine, who was up on racketeering charges, however, he wasn’t sentenced to life when he revealed information to the authorities. As part of his defense, 6ix9ine’s lawyer stated Mr. Danny Hernandez was merely exaggerating his offenses as part of his “act” as a hip-hop recording artist.
